love is the closest things with have to magic | Stuck?! Sketches September 1

#kerriegurney

Hi all,
I am back again I cannot believe I have actually blogged three days in a row!!!
I created this layout while I was in NZ for the Craft & Quilt Fairs,  I was demonstrating using Couture Creations Anna Griffin Embossing Pastes and Stencils and one of the exhibitors Zyneri had some gorgeous Scrapmatts Stencils and I so love this Brick Pattern it has fast become one of my favourites as it is so versatile
Of course I had to create a layout using the piece of cardstock that I had used to demo the paste and glitter.
I have been wanting to use the Cocoa Vanilla Love Always Collection I have purchased and thought it was perfect with the stenciled bricks throw in a Stuck Sketch and my layout was created and up on my display wall at the show in minutes.
This is what I love about Sketches

how super cute is this photo of my great niece and nephews

Being Together is the best gift of all | Couture Creations, Ultimate Crafts

#kerriegurney #couturecreationsaus #ultimatecrafts #annagriffin

Hi Everyone Kerrie here with another layout created for the
Artdeco Creations Blog this time I have used the newly released
Ultimate Crafts Season's Greetings collection to create this super quick and easy layout

I love these photos of my baby playing around with her furbaby on Christmas morning way back in 2012 which was a lazy Christmas for me as we only have one tree instead of our Christmas forest.

I have once again used the Couture Creations Anna Griffin Embossing Paste with a sprinkling of Glitter, I so love the look this gives.

A touch of texture and sparkle without overpowering my layout.
You can see my tutorial on how to create this look HERE

I love love love these handmade poinsettia flowers that come in the Season's Greetings collection, they are the perfect embellishment when you are wanting to create a quick layout

I embossed the photo mat piece of cardstock using Season's Greeting Sun Rays Embossing Folder to add some more texture and finished off by adding a sprinkling of 3mm Pearls

Sorry my photos are not very clear I think I may need a new camera as all my photos are starting to have a blur to them.

I hope you enjoyed my quick layout and that it inspires you to get some past Christmas photos in albums before this Christmas is upon us.

Family Portrait | Couture Creations

#kerriegurney

Hi Everyone Kerrie here again with another layout for the Artdeco Creations Brands Blog
using their Couture Creations Be Merry Christmas Paper and Ephemera Collection for a non Christmassy layout

I love this selection of selfies my #1 daughter took of her, her partner and their beautiful rescue dog Ollie.

once again I have used Couture Creations Anna Griffin Embossing Paste and Pigments, this time I  mixed in some Silver Pigment

I then spread it randomly over the Be Merry Christmas Threads Stencil

I then sprinkled on some Be Merry & Classic Silver GLitter, just a smidge as I didn't want to cover all the Embossing paste

I then Inked up my Wire Stamp from the Ultimate Crafts Background Textures collection and leaving it on the plastic it comes on I randomly stamped it. No block needed
(and yes I have overinked my ink pad, it is extra juicy)

I then created my own spray using Couture Creations Anna Griffin Silver Pigment
Simply add some Pigment Powder to an empty spray bottle and add water.
You can personalise your spray making it as intense or light as you like. I went for a mid way strength.
Give the bottle a shake and then you can either spray it on your titles or use a paint brush to paint it on
Before I coloured my Matt Board title I gave it a light coat of Couture Creations Anna Griffin Gesso so that the colour didn't soak right in

I painted my on as I love the variegated look you get when using Ultimate Crafts Cardstock.

Finish off with a sprinkling of pearls,  gemstones and I also added a Resin Corner from Ultimate Crafts Magnolia Lane Collection

and there you have a non Christmassy layout using the Couture Creations  Be Merry Christmas paper
