Craft and Sewing Show Class Photos and Instructions

Firstly i would like to thank everyone who took one or both of my classes at the show ....you were all wonderful and i thoroughly enjoyed all of my classes sharing some new techniques and laughs with you all. I do hope you all went out and stocked up on your Martha Stewart edge punches, Maya Road Mists, Chipboard Albums etc and have been busy creating more mini albums, layouts, cards and flowers .... or maybe have  started using the ones you already have ☺

For those of you who bought kits or you just want a refresher here are the full photos and some quick instructions for both classes ....



Mini Travel Album 






Materials Used
Teresa Collins - World Traveller Patterned Papers and Die Cuts
Papermania - Bare Chipboard Album
Maya Road - Jonathan Rubons, Maya Mist Mustard Yellow and Tiny Chipboard Banner Bits
ZVA - Paper Flowers
Couture Creations - Pearls, Double Sided Tape and Foam Mounting Tape
Clearsnap - Colourbox Black Ink Pad
We R Memory Keepers - Crop-a-dile
Other - Calico, Seam Binding Ribbon, Bakers Twine, Paper Doily, Pearl Pin

Instructions
  1. cover all chipboard pages using patterned papers - remember to punch holes using your Crop-a-dile as you go and before covering the other side. Trim off excess paper as you go also.
  2. cut one piece diagonally to be used for pockets
  3. sand all edges of pages
  4. Ink all edges of pages and also of your pocket pieces  and use may mist to colour chipboard banner pieces.
  5. attach pockets one on the third page and the other on the inside back page
  6. ink the edges of paper doily and front cover title
  7. run a line of double sided tape down the left side of front cover and attach ruffled piece of calico (cut off excess to be used inside album)
  8. run another line of double sided tape down the middle of calico and then roughly pleat black seam binding ribbon on top of calico, finish off with some lg pearls.
  9. attach title using foam tape
  10. tie a knot bow on pearl pin and then push pin through chip board flag piece and punch in behind title
  11. cut off the stems from paper flowers and using double sided tape attach them to your page
  12. fold mini envelope and tie bakers string around finish off with a die cut embellishment and attach
  13. you can embellish all pages to suit your photos or just copy the pages above. Remembering to ink all die cut pieces.
  14. use rubons throughout album for page titles and embellishing.

Core`dinations Cardstock - Sea Otter and Ice Cream
Prima Marketing Inc - Annalee Collection Romance and Parlor Papers
Martha Stewart Punches- Vintage Doily, Daisy Fan, Two Dot Scallop and Swirling Lace
Making Memories -  Paperie Felt Clips Rouge
Fancy Pants Design - Roadshow Trim
Maya Road - Birds Keychain Set and Maya Mist Antique Patina
Couture Creations - Pearls, Double Sided Tape and Foam Mounting Tape
Clearsnap - Colourbox Black Ink Pad
Seam Binding Ribbon

Instructions Layout
  1. spray chipboard birds using maya mist and put aside to dry
  2. Randomly punch the edge of Romance paper using four punches ...it does not have to match up or be neat, when you have punched around the whole piece scrunch it up
  3. punch a strip using the daisy fan punch using the small strip of sea otter cardstock.
  4. cut out verse strip and scrunch also cut striped piece of the parlor paper including the green strip at the top
  5. ink all edges of all paper and cardstock pieces
  6. attach romance paper to sea otter cardstock
  7. cut daisy fan strip back to four daisy fans and then center on striped piece and cut striped piece down also attach both to page
  8. attach verse using foam tape
  9. using ice cream c/s strip cover with double sided tape and punch out 2 x 11/2" circles remove the tape backing.
  10. make your flowers - cut trim in half and then slowly working around the edge of the circle pleat your trim until whole circle is covered cut off excess trim and finish off with three lg pearls in the centre
  11. finish off by tying ribbon on one paper clip and the back of one bird add some pearls for eyes on birds and arrange on your page around your photo. Paper clips will slide under your papers.
Instructions Quick Card
  1. fold ice cream cardstock in half
  2. cut from parlor paper scallop dots, floral and time with friends
  3. ink all pieces
  4. tie ribbon to paper clips
  5. attach all pieces onto card using double sided tape and foam tape for sentiment. Slide paperclips under papers.

Imaginisce Sole Sisters Mini Album

I created this mini album for  Print Blocks using Couture Creations Victorian Square nesting die to make the album and Imaginisce Sole Sisters Collection.








here are some quick instructions on how to make the mini album

 tape your victorian square die into place and use the tape as a guide 
butt the folded side of your double-sided paper against the tape marker and run through cuttlebug

 glue your pages together


and you mini album pages are ready
make your cover pices using single pieces of cardstock and then cut a strip to use as binding.
