Birthday Tin and Card

My DD had a birthday party to go to today so an hour before hand i decided to make the present, nothing like leaving it until the last minute!

So here is the tin and card i made for her friend.

For the tin i used up some old pp and as you can see i cut it a tad short , but this is what happens when you rush and i didn't have anymore of that pp to redo, so it had to do.(excuse the mess on the table) I then added paper flowers held together with a big flower brad, painted the chipboard B and added some glitter to both. I then tied ribbons to the handle.

Fir the card i used my new Kaiser cup cake stamp coloured it with water colour pencils added some glitter and then using my nestabilities cut the cup cake out and the the scalloped background. ran a bit of white cs through the cuttlebug out it all together with a bit of organza ribbon to finish off the card. (sorry not the best photo of the card but we were running late)

enjoy what's left of your sunday

Halloween Card & Box

Here is a quick Halloween Card and Acetate Box i have just made after reading Leslie Miller's Blog.

For the card i just ran 2/3rds of the card through the cuttlebug, then scored a definition line, rubbed over embossing with brillinance ink pad, added pp, tulle ribbon and a glitter clear. too easy

Leslie has a tutorial on her blog showing you how to make the box it is very quick and easy. After cutting your acetate to size & scoring your fold lines you run it through your cuttlebug, fold it up and use super tape to hold in place, pinch top together and hold with a clip embellished with tulle ribbon and a glitter clear.
